Some things are Easier than you may think.....

When is the last time you did something for yourself?


I myself used to find myself giving my last $20.00 to
friends in need!
I used to give my

tennis shoes to my children because
I thought they needed them more than me!

Now, with the knowledge I have, I know that
to

give is important...But, to take care of Myself
is the Most Important...

I NOW give my friend $10.00 and take the other $10.00

and
buy my child a new pair of shoes!

See, if I don't take care of myself...I have NOTHING to Give!

A very special person once said to me, "if you were on a plane and
it was going to

crash. Would you put the oxygen mask on the child
next to you or would you put it on Yourself?"

Good question...right! I answered

what any parent would answer...
"I would put it on my child's face!"
My response from them was Profound...

"NO! You would put

it on Your Own Face!!! Who would take care
of this child if you were gone...?"

See, we live in a world in which we tend to become so

confussed with
the importance of "Self" that we tend to make poor decisions....
It is time to Change your thinking....
I have learned so

much in the past few years that I Now know that,

To do for myself is NOT "selfish" but is actually "Generous" to the
one's I

love.

See Your Past Experiences in a New Light

Okay my Friends....I learned something new last night and I have to share...

My husband and I have gone to the next level and I would like to share this with you!
We have dove into the pool of physiology and are doing our best to find the answers that you are asking us about. One of these questions that you always ask us is; "How do I deal with my past?"

Well, here is an exercise that will allow you to see your past experiences better.

Find a specific memory that is one of your most unpleasant memories.



Take a moment to really see it, feel the emotions you felt when it happened. And even see what you were wearing at that moment.

Now push that memory away for a moment.



I like to think of it this way....

Now, think about a song that always makes you smile and feel happy...
Here's mine...

Put that music with the bad memory and see it again.
How do you feel?
Does it make it easier to see that it is not "so bad"...

Alright, now every time you find yourself thinking about the past and the feeling becomes uncomfortable...Think of your song...
The "Happy Feeling" will bring you to a place where you can look at that memory from a different perspective.
